King of the Tyne Venues

Tickets for the Tyne Championship (donation to the TAA), Gurkha (donation to the GNAA) and Steve Roberts Memorial (donation to the Stroke Association) will only be available to purchase via the King of the Tyne website at a cost of £10.00 each. All matches are limited to 72 pegs. One ticket per person, per match but an individual may purchase other tickets on another’s behalf, but they must name that person. Ticket cost includes automatic entry to the King of the Tyne. Pay out for this is to be confirmed following ticket sales but will be 100% minus a nominal amount for sweatshirts, trophies and pegging.

Pools/Match fees of £25.00 per match will be payable via the King of the Tyne website no later than two weeks prior to the match date. Failure to do so may result in forfeit of the ticket and the next person on the reserve list invited to apply. There will be no refund of the £10 ticket cost unless there is a substantial reason and will be at the discretion of the organisers. Pools money cannot be refunded if cancellation is made within 4 days of the match as all prize funds will have been withdrawn and prepared.

Payout will be the top five individuals in each match and the winner of each eight peg section. Top five individuals do not qualify for section money. The King of the Tyne will be decided on aggregate weight over the three matches and the payout will be for the top five as per above.

The sponsor for all three matches and the King of the Tyne will be Cadence Fishing UK and Strikemore Baits. There will be a voucher prizes for the top five in the overall King of the Tyne Championship.

The match length used will be the River Tyne from Hexham to Wylam.
